Please read the agreement carefully and sign below. This is a legally binding contract under Bahamian law.
1. Parties
This agreement is between Excel Transportation Limited (trading as ExcelDrive), registered in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas ("Company"), and the signatory below ("Renter").
2. Vehicle Condition
The Renter accepts the vehicle in the condition noted at time of drop-off. Any pre-existing damage must be recorded on the vehicle inspection form before departure. The Renter is liable for any damage not previously recorded.
3. Drop-Off Service
ExcelDrive will deliver the vehicle to the Renter's nominated destination. For LPIA drop-offs, the vehicle will be in short-term parking 30 minutes before the scheduled flight arrival time. The ExcelDrive parking pass is included and covers the Renter's exit from the lot. For hotel drop-offs, keys will be left at the front desk in the Renter's name. ExcelDrive covers the first hour of valet parking. Any additional parking charges beyond one hour are the responsibility of the Renter or their hotel account.
4. Payment
Full payment for the rental period, including any applicable insurance upgrade and deposit, is required before vehicle drop-off. No vehicle will be delivered without confirmed payment. The security deposit will be refunded within 5 business days of return, subject to damage inspection.
5. Return
The vehicle must be returned to ExcelDrive at the agreed date, time, and location. Late returns will be charged at 1.5x the daily rate per additional day or part thereof. The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of fuel. A refuelling charge of $60 applies if returned empty.
6. Prohibited Uses
The vehicle may not be: driven off-road; used for hire or reward; driven by any person not named in this agreement; taken off the island of New Providence without prior written consent; driven under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.
7. Traffic Violations
The Renter is fully responsible for all traffic fines, parking tickets, and toll charges incurred during the rental period. ExcelDrive will charge the Renter for any such penalties received after return, plus a $25 administration fee per incident.
8. Data Protection
Personal data collected during this booking is processed in accordance with the Bahamas Data Protection Act 2003. Data is held for a minimum of 7 years for legal and accounting purposes. The Renter has the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data by contacting bookings@exceldrivebahamas.com.
9. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Bahamian courts.
